2 pane glass (climaguard)
![]() |
New generation of 2 pane glasses have an efficient insulation. Surface of glass is plated with precious metal (like argon), which reflects the heat into the room. Coefficient of external heat conductivity for 2 pane glass: Uf = 1,1W/m2K. In olden times most of heat was lost through badly isulated glasses. Nowdays you can save the most energy with high quality glasses. |
3 pane glass (climaguard N3)

Coefficient of external heat conductivity up to Uf = 0,5W/m2K, suitable for passive houses. |
Sunproof glasses

Soundproof glasses

Soundproof glasses – up to 23dB if required because of the noisy surroundings. |
Glasses against violent entering

Glasses against violent entering – there are two types: with passive and active protection. Passive protection means that between two panes is a wirenet, which keeps the glass together by breaking. Active protection means, that a special foil is placed between the glass panes, and so it will be resistant against heavy impacts. More foil (up to 4 pieces) means bigger protection. |
